We are the voices behind the page. A couple of ex-pats with a constant itch to be elsewhere. This is our little corner of the internet. A living, breathing memory bank for us and an evolving story for you. No faff, just the raw version of our experiences, the food we eat, the people we meet and all the learnings. The goal being, that 96 East will become more than a record; it will, hopefully, turn into a bridge – inviting friends, family and all others to come along for the ride.

This is our place to document the journey because if we are being honest, we are figuring this all out as we go. We’ve quit our jobs with one plan, get out of London, go see the world and eat way too much food on the way. We are here to embrace new perspectives, cultures and experiences and hope that these adventures, whatever they turn out to be, send us nicely on our way.
